Legislation requires that all instruments, devices and measurement systems pass State Metrological Control. To this end, the Legal Metrology laboratory guarantees the safety, protection of the health and economic interests of consumers and users by verifying compliance with the regulations or regulations applicable to different measuring instruments.

The services we can help you with include:

• Individual verification of electricity meters. From ITE, we carry out individual verifications of electricity meters, at the request of any interested party at the measurement point located in facilities in the Valencian Community.
• Accuracy verification of transformers for measuring current (up to 2000A) and voltage (up to 40 kV). ITE is designated as a Notified Body for active electricity meters and as a Metrological Control Body for regulated electricity meters, according to the following compliance modules:
• Module B: standard exam.
• Module D: declaration of conformity to the standard based on the quality assurance of the manufacturing process.
• Module F: declaration of conformity to the standard based on product verification.

In addition, ITE has accreditation from the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) for carrying out State Metrological Control, through the Marketing Phase and the Commissioning of electricity meters.
