The Interoperability Laboratory is an infrastructure that has a dedicated connection from the Transformer Substation, providing a controllable scenario for the execution of tests with electric meters. It allows companies to achieve greater efficiency and performance, while providing a more detailed and realistic view of all their information. This makes it easier to exchange, interpret and present shared data.
It has numerous technologies that seek energy efficiency, allowing the configuration of distances, attenuations and noise signal injections for the different tests. This has a maximum capacity of 352 meters distributed in 8 centralizations, which allows to perform as many tests as necessary to refine the behavior of the devices until the desired quality is achieved.
The infrastructure has a configurable environment through which it is possible to repeat and control processes. This allows benchmarking between different manufacturers, improving processes based on the advantages of the equipment and providing distributors with useful information on the performance of the different devices.
Companies that may need these services include those wishing to debug the communication functionalities of their devices, prior to start-up, in order to improve performance and save costs.
A versatile laboratory offering a wide range of configuration opportunities that reflect the behavior of real environments, being able to replicate similar situations in the field, but in a controlled environment. Its objective, therefore, is to test how these devices will behave once deployed.
